Summer Camp Updates from David Lindmark

Middle School GEM camp at Shamineau was a great week but different from our usual camps in that we fit more into the host camp's total program. This meant that we fished on Shamineau the entire week. We caught lots of bass, a bonus walleye, and had a few muskie sightings. One muskie hit at boatside but got off. Food was terrific.

Camp 3 at Lutherdel

A great week of fishing for largemouth and smallmouth bass as well as northerns, A good bunch of kids who were competitive but cooperative in our daily fishing tournaments.

We had a great outing out there, getting lots of walleyes down from the ford dam. nothing huge, but the kids all had a great time and learned how to nab those walleyes on a jig and minnow combo!

GEM Camp pics for Aug 2-6

I was up for the week for this camp. The fishing was pretty good for bass, sunfish, and crappies, with a few pike too.
































Wesley did good, catching lots of fish and learning how to unhook them!







On the last day we got onto a great crappie bite, averyone in the boat was getting em, sometimes 3 at a time!
